A simple recipe for delicious turtle bars.
Ingredients

- 1 cup of all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup of unsalted butter
- 1 cup of brown sugar
- 1/2 cup of granulated sugar
- 1 cup of chopped pecans
- 1 cup of chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup of caramel sauce
- 1/4 teaspoon of salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix flour, brown sugar, and salt.
- Add melted butter and stir until combined.
- Press the mixture into a greased baking dish.
- Bake for 15 minutes.
- Remove from oven and sprinkle with pecans and chocolate chips.
- Drizzle caramel sauce over the top.
- Bake for an additional 15 minutes.
- Let cool before cutting into bars.
Notes
- Store leftovers in an airtight container.
- Try using different types of nuts.
- For a richer flavor, use dark chocolate chips.
