Ingredients

  • 1 cup eggnog
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup eggnog for soaking
  • 1 cup whipped topping
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare cake mix according to package instructions using eggnog instead of water.
  3. Pour batter into a greased 9×13 inch pan.
  4. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  5. Allow the cake to cool for 10 minutes.
  6. Poke holes in the cake using a fork.
  7. Pour 1 cup of eggnog over the cake, allowing it to soak in.
  8. Chill the cake in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
  9. Top with whipped topping and sprinkle with nutmeg before serving.
