Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (160°C).
  2. In a saucepan, heat the milk until it is warm but not boiling.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, sugar, vanilla, and salt.
  4. Slowly add the warm milk to the egg mixture while whisking continuously.
  5. Pour the mixture into custard cups or a baking dish.
  6. Place the cups in a baking pan and fill the pan with hot water halfway up the sides of the cups.
  7. Bake for about 45 minutes or until the custard is set.
  8. Remove from the oven and let cool before serving.
