Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a saucepan, heat milk over medium heat until just simmering.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together eggs, sugar, vanilla, and salt.
  4. Slowly pour the hot milk into the egg mixture, whisking constantly.
  5. Strain the mixture through a fine sieve into a measuring jug.
  6. Pour custard into ramekins.
  7. Place ramekins in a baking dish and fill the dish with hot water halfway up the sides of the ramekins.
  8. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until set.
  9. Cool before serving.
