Ingredients

- 2 ribeye steaks (1 inch thick)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon fresh rosemary, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup red wine
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 pound asparagus, trimmed
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Season the steaks with salt, pepper, rosemary, and garlic.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Sear the steaks for 3-4 minutes on each side.
- Add red wine to the skillet and bring to a simmer.
- Transfer the skillet to the oven and cook for 6-8 minutes for medium-rare.
- Remove the steaks and let them rest.
- In the same skillet, add butter and let it melt.
- Add asparagus and lemon juice, sauté for 5 minutes.
- Serve steaks with asparagus on the side.

- Let the steaks rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
- Use a meat thermometer for accurate cooking.
