Description

Delicious fried apple or peach pies filled with sweet fruit.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups apples or peaches, peeled and sliced
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 package pie crusts
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix sliced fruit, sugar, cinnamon, and lemon juice.
  2. Roll out pie crusts and cut them into circles.
  3. Place a spoonful of filling on one half of each circle.
  4. Fold the dough over the filling and seal the edges.
  5. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
  6. Fry the pies until golden brown on both sides.
  7. Remove and drain on paper towels.
  8. Serve warm.
