Description
Delicious fried apple or peach pies filled with sweet fruit.
Ingredients

- 2 cups apples or peaches, peeled and sliced
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 package pie crusts
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix sliced fruit, sugar, cinnamon, and lemon juice.
- Roll out pie crusts and cut them into circles.
- Place a spoonful of filling on one half of each circle.
- Fold the dough over the filling and seal the edges.
- Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Fry the pies until golden brown on both sides.
- Remove and drain on paper towels.
- Serve warm.
Notes
- You can substitute with other fruits.
- Adjust sugar to taste.
- Make sure oil is hot enough before frying.
