Ingredients

  • 2 lbs chicken wing flats
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 cup honey
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp lemon zest
  • Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix flour, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  2. Coat the chicken wing flats in the flour mixture.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a deep pan over medium heat.
  4. Fry the chicken for 8-10 minutes until golden brown.
  5. In a saucepan, combine honey, lemon juice, and lemon zest. Heat until warm.
  6. Drain the wings on paper towels.
  7. Drizzle the honey lemon pepper sauce over the fried wings.
  8. Serve hot.
