- 2 lbs chicken wing flats
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 cup honey
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp lemon zest
- Vegetable oil for frying
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix flour, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
- Coat the chicken wing flats in the flour mixture.
- Heat vegetable oil in a deep pan over medium heat.
- Fry the chicken for 8-10 minutes until golden brown.
- In a saucepan, combine honey, lemon juice, and lemon zest. Heat until warm.
- Drain the wings on paper towels.
- Drizzle the honey lemon pepper sauce over the fried wings.
- Serve hot.
Notes
- Adjust the lemon juice to taste.
- Make sure the oil is hot before frying.
- For extra crunch, double fry the wings.
