Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups sugar
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)
Instructions
- In a medium saucepan, combine sugar, cocoa powder, and milk.
- Add butter and bring to a boil over medium heat.
- Boil for about 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
- Remove from heat and stir in vanilla and nuts if using.
- Pour into a greased 8×8 inch pan.
- Let it cool completely before cutting into squares.
Notes
- Store fudge in an airtight container.
- Can be refrigerated for longer shelf life.
- Experiment with different flavors by adding extracts or toppings.
