Description

A delicious grilled cheese sandwich featuring garlic and mushrooms.


Ingredients

  • 2 slices of bread
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • 1/2 cup mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons butter

Instructions

  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Melt 1 tablespoon of butter.
  3. Add minced garlic and sliced mushrooms. Sauté until mushrooms are soft.
  4. Remove mushrooms from skillet and set aside.
  5. Spread butter on one side of each bread slice.
  6. Place one slice, butter side down, in the skillet.
  7. Add half of the cheese, followed by the sautéed mushrooms, and then the remaining cheese.
  8. Top with the second slice of bread, butter side up.
  9. Grill until golden brown, then flip and grill the other side.
  10. Remove from skillet and cut in half before serving.

Notes

  • You can add herbs for more flavor.
  • Use your favorite type of cheese.
