Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 cup shredded coconut
  • 1/2 cup evaporated milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Melt the butter and mix it with sugar.
  3. Add eggs and vanilla, then mix well.
  4. Stir in flour, cocoa powder, and salt until combined.
  5. Pour the batter into a greased baking pan.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes.
  7. While brownies bake, prepare the frosting.
  8. In a saucepan, combine evaporated milk, sugar, butter, and egg yolks. Cook until thickened.
  9. Remove from heat and stir in coconut and pecans.
  10. Spread frosting over brownies once they cool.
