Ingredients

- 1 box German chocolate cake mix
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 3 large eggs
- 1 can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 cup chocolate frosting
- 1 cup shredded coconut
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Prepare the cake mix according to package instructions using water, vegetable oil, and eggs.
- Pour the batter into a greased 9×13 inch pan.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool for 10 minutes.
- Using the handle of a wooden spoon, poke holes all over the cake.
- Pour the sweetened condensed milk over the cake, filling the holes.
- Let the cake cool completely.
- Spread chocolate frosting over the top.
- Sprinkle shredded coconut and chopped pecans on top.
Notes
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator.
- For a richer flavor, use homemade frosting.
- Let the cake sit for a few hours to absorb the milk.
