Description

A delicious German chocolate poke cake that is rich and moist.


Ingredients

  • 1 box German chocolate cake mix
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup chocolate syrup
  • 1 cup shredded coconut
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 container whipped topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare the German chocolate cake mix according to package instructions.
  3. Pour the batter into a greased 9×13 inch baking pan.
  4. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  5. Remove from oven and let it cool for 10 minutes.
  6. Poke holes in the cake using a fork.
  7. Pour sweetened condensed milk and chocolate syrup over the cake.
  8. Sprinkle coconut and pecans on top.
  9. Spread whipped topping evenly over the cake.
  10. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.
