A light and fluffy German pancake, also known as a Dutch baby, that puffs up beautifully in the oven.
Ingredients

- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup milk
- 4 large eggs
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- In a blender, combine flour, milk, eggs, salt, and vanilla. Blend until smooth.
- Melt butter in a cast-iron skillet over medium heat.
- Pour the batter into the skillet and transfer it to the oven.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, until puffy and golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and serve immediately, topped with your choice of fruits or syrup.
Notes
- Serve with powdered sugar or fresh fruit.
- Can be made in advance and reheated.
