Description

Crispy chicken topped with a rich parmesan mushroom sauce.


Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Mix breadcrumbs, parmesan cheese, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  3. Coat each chicken breast in the mixture.
  4. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  5. Sear the chicken breasts for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden.
  6. Transfer the chicken to the oven and bake for 20 minutes.
  7. In the same skillet, add mushrooms and sauté until soft.
  8. Add heavy cream and simmer for 5 minutes.
  9. Serve chicken topped with the parmesan mushroom sauce.
