A delicious golden seared cod topped with a rich herb butter sauce.


Ingredients

  • 2 cod fillets
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Season the cod fillets with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Place the cod fillets in the skillet and sear for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  4. Remove the cod from the skillet and set aside.
  5. In the same skillet, melt the butter and add garlic. Sauté for 1 minute.
  6. Add parsley, dill, and lemon juice to the butter mixture. Stir to combine.
  7. Pour the herb butter sauce over the cod fillets.
  8. Serve immediately.
