A delicious golden seared cod topped with a rich herb butter sauce.
Ingredients

- 2 cod fillets
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Season the cod fillets with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Place the cod fillets in the skillet and sear for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Remove the cod from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt the butter and add garlic. Sauté for 1 minute.
- Add parsley, dill, and lemon juice to the butter mixture. Stir to combine.
- Pour the herb butter sauce over the cod fillets.
- Serve immediately.
