Ingredients

- 500g lamb shoulder, minced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 4 whole wheat pita breads
- 1 cup Greek yogurt
- 1 cucumber, grated and drained
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- Salt to taste
- Fresh dill, chopped for garnish
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine minced lamb, garlic, oregano, cumin, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Shape the mixture into small patties.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat. Cook lamb patties for 4-5 minutes on each side until browned and cooked through.
- For tzatziki, mix yogurt, grated cucumber, olive oil, lemon juice, and salt in a bowl.
- Warm pita breads in a dry skillet or oven.
- Assemble wraps by placing lamb patties in pita and drizzling with tzatziki. Top with fresh dill.
Notes
- Adjust seasoning according to taste.
- For a spicier option, add chili flakes to the lamb mixture.
- Serve with a side of Greek salad for a complete meal.
