- 1 pound fresh green beans
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup sliced almonds

- Pepper to taste
Instructions
- Trim the ends of the green beans.
- In a large pot, bring water to a boil and blanch the green beans for 3 minutes.
- Drain and transfer the green beans to an ice bath.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
- Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
- Add the blanched green beans and sliced almonds to the skillet.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Sauté for 5 minutes until heated through.
