A delicious grey lavender cake drizzled with honey lemon glaze.
Ingredients

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 4 large eggs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons dried grey lavender
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease and flour a 9-inch round cake pan.
- In a bowl, cream together the butter and sugar.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Stir in the milk and vanilla extract.
- In another bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt, and lavender.
- Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cool before glazing.
Notes
- Store leftovers in an airtight container.
- Can substitute fresh lavender for dried.
- Adjust sweetness of glaze as desired.
