Grilled salmon with lemon butter dill sauce served with asparagus
Ingredients

- 4 salmon fillets (6 ounces each)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 bunch asparagus (about 1 pound)
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1 lemon (juiced and zested)
- 2 tablespoons fresh dill, chopped
- 1 garlic clove, minced
Instructions
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
- Brush salmon fillets with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
- Trim the woody ends off the asparagus and toss with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
- Place salmon and asparagus on the grill. Grill salmon for 5-6 minutes per side and asparagus for 3-4 minutes until tender.
- In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add lemon juice, lemon zest, dill, and garlic. Stir until combined.
- Remove salmon and asparagus from the grill. Drizzle lemon butter dill sauce over the salmon and serve with asparagus.
Notes
- For a smoky flavor, add wood chips to the grill.
- You can substitute dill with parsley if preferred.
- Serve with lemon wedges for extra flavor.
