Grilled salmon with lemon butter dill sauce served with asparagus


Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets (6 ounces each)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 bunch asparagus (about 1 pound)
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 lemon (juiced and zested)
  • 2 tablespoons fresh dill, chopped
  • 1 garlic clove, minced

Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  2. Brush salmon fillets with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
  3. Trim the woody ends off the asparagus and toss with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  4. Place salmon and asparagus on the grill. Grill salmon for 5-6 minutes per side and asparagus for 3-4 minutes until tender.
  5. In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add lemon juice, lemon zest, dill, and garlic. Stir until combined.
  6. Remove salmon and asparagus from the grill. Drizzle lemon butter dill sauce over the salmon and serve with asparagus.

Notes

  • For a smoky flavor, add wood chips to the grill.
  • You can substitute dill with parsley if preferred.
  • Serve with lemon wedges for extra flavor.
