- 1 cup cooked ham, diced
- 1 cup fresh spinach, chopped
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Swiss)
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup heavy cream

- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Place the pie crust in a pie dish and pre-bake for 10 minutes.
- In a bowl, whisk together eggs, heavy cream, salt, pepper, and nutmeg.
- Layer the diced ham and chopped spinach in the pre-baked crust.
- Pour the egg mixture over the ham and spinach.
- Sprinkle shredded cheese on top.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes or until the quiche is set and lightly golden.
- Let it cool for 10 minutes before slicing.
Notes
- For a lighter version, substitute cream with milk.
- You can add other vegetables like mushrooms or bell peppers.
- Serve with a simple vinaigrette salad for contrast.
