Ingredients

  • 4 medium potatoes, sliced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup milk
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Brown the ground beef and onion in a skillet.
  3. Layer half of the potatoes in a greased baking dish.
  4. Add the cooked beef and onion over the potatoes.
  5. Mix the cream of mushroom soup and milk, then pour over the beef.
  6. Layer the remaining potatoes on top.
  7. Season with salt and pepper.
  8. Cover with foil and bake for 1 hour.
  9. Remove the foil, add cheese, and bake for an additional 15 minutes.
