Ingredients

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp oil for frying
- 1 cup onion, sliced
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, chopped onion, egg, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Form the mixture into patties.
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Cook patties for about 5 minutes on each side until browned.
- Remove patties and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add sliced onions and cook until soft.
- Add beef broth and bring to a simmer.
- Stir in heavy cream and return patties to the skillet.
- Simmer for 10 minutes to combine flavors.
- Serve hot with gravy on top.
