Ingredients

  • 1 package (30 oz) frozen hashbrowns
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the cream of chicken soup, sour cream, melted butter, salt, and pepper.
  3. Add the hashbrowns, chopped onion, and 1 cup of cheddar cheese to the mixture. Stir well.
  4. Pour the mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
  5. Top with the remaining cheddar cheese.
  6. Bake for 45-50 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
  7. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
