A refreshing hibiscus iced tea recipe perfect for summer.
Ingredients

- 2 cups dried hibiscus flowers
- 8 cups water
- 1 cup sugar (adjust to taste)
- 1/2 cup fresh lime juice
- Ice cubes
- Fresh mint leaves for garnish
Instructions
- Boil 4 cups of water in a large pot.
- Add the dried hibiscus flowers to the boiling water.
- Reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes.
- Strain the mixture into a pitcher, discarding the flowers.
- Add the remaining 4 cups of cold water, sugar, and lime juice to the pitcher.
- Stir well until the sugar is fully dissolved.
- Chill the tea in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
- Serve over ice and garnish with fresh mint leaves.
Notes
- For a sweeter tea, increase the sugar.
- Add a splash of orange juice for a citrus twist.
- Experiment with other herbs like basil for unique flavors.
