Homemade chicken bulgogi is a flavorful Korean dish made with marinated chicken.
Ingredients

- 1 lb chicken breast, thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
- 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
- 1 tablespoon gochujang (Korean chili paste)
- 1 tablespoon rice wine
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil for cooking
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix soy sauce, sugar, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, gochujang, and rice wine.
- Add sliced chicken to the marinade. Mix well and let it sit for at least 30 minutes.
- Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add marinated chicken to the skillet and cook until browned and cooked through, about 7-10 minutes.
- Stir in chopped green onions and cook for another minute.
- Serve hot with rice or lettuce wraps.
Notes
- Adjust the spice level by adding more or less gochujang.
- For best results, marinate the chicken overnight.
- Serve with side dishes like kimchi or pickled vegetables.
