Description
A comforting and creamy chicken stroganoff dish made from scratch.
Ingredients

- 1 lb chicken breast, cut into strips
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 8 oz mushrooms, sliced
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup sour cream
- 2 tbsp flour
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Add onions and garlic, sauté until soft.
- Add chicken strips, cook until golden brown.
- Add mushrooms, cook until tender.
- Sprinkle flour and paprika, stir well.
- Pour in chicken broth, simmer for 5 minutes.
- Stir in sour cream, cook until heated through.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Serve over egg noodles or rice.
Notes
- Use fresh herbs for added flavor.
- Adjust the thickness by adding more or less broth.
- Can substitute chicken with beef or mushrooms for a vegetarian option.
