- 1/2 cup rum or bourbon (optional)
Instructions

- Gradually add sugar and continue to beat until well combined.
- Stir in the milk, heavy cream, vanilla extract, and ground nutmeg.
- If using, add the rum or bourbon.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.
- Serve cold and garnish with additional nutmeg if desired.
