Ingredients

- 2 cups milk
- 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
- A pinch of salt
Instructions
- In a saucepan, combine cocoa powder, sugar, and salt.
- Add a little milk and stir until smooth.
- Gradually whisk in the remaining milk.
- Heat the mixture over medium heat until hot but not boiling.
- Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract.
- Serve hot, optionally topped with whipped cream.
