Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Rinse the red lentils under cold water until the water runs clear.
  2. In a pot, combine the lentils and water. Bring to a boil.
  3. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 15-20 minutes until lentils are soft.
  4. Drain excess water and let lentils cool slightly.
  5. Transfer lentils to a blender. Add salt, garlic powder, onion powder, and olive oil. Blend until smooth.
  6. Spread the lentil mixture onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Use a spatula to create an even layer.
  7. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake for 25-30 minutes until crispy.
  8. Remove from the oven and let cool. Break into chips.
