Description
A refreshing homemade lime sorbet perfect for hot days.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups fresh lime juice
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 cups water
- Zest of 2 limes
Instructions
- Combine water and sugar in a pot over medium heat.
- Stir until sugar dissolves completely.
- Remove from heat and let it cool.
- Add lime juice and zest to the mixture.
- Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to manufacturer’s instructions.
- Transfer to a container and freeze for at least 4 hours.
- Scoop and serve chilled.

- Use fresh limes for better flavor.
- Adjust sugar to taste if you prefer it sweeter.
- Let the sorbet sit at room temperature for a few minutes before serving for easier scooping.
