- 1 packet active dry yeast
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 3/4 cup warm water
- 1 tablespoon olive oil

- 1 cup tomato sauce
- 8 ounces fresh mozzarella cheese, sliced
- Fresh basil leaves
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C).
- In a bowl, combine warm water, yeast, and sugar. Let it sit for 5 minutes.
- Add flour, olive oil, and salt to the yeast mixture. Mix until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes.
- Let the dough rise in a warm place for 30 minutes.
- Roll out the dough on a pizza stone or baking sheet.
- Spread tomato sauce evenly over the dough.
- Top with mozzarella cheese and fresh basil leaves.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until the crust is golden.
- Season with salt and pepper before serving.
