A delicious honeycrisp apple galette with a flaky crust and sweet filling.


Ingredients

  • 2 Honeycrisp apples, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 1 pre-made pie crust
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 tablespoon butter, cut into small pieces

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix sliced apples with lemon juice, sugar, cinnamon, and flour.
  3. Roll out the pie crust on a baking sheet.
  4. Arrange apple mixture in the center of the crust.
  5. Fold the edges of the crust over the apples.
  6. Brush the crust with beaten egg.
  7. Dot the apples with butter.
  8. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden.
