- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

- Whipped cream for topping
- Chocolate shavings for garnish
Instructions
- In a saucepan, combine milk and heavy cream over medium heat.
- Whisk in cocoa powder and sugar until dissolved.
- Add vanilla extract and salt, stir well.
- Heat until hot but not boiling, about 5 minutes.
- Pour into mugs and top with whipped cream and chocolate shavings.
Notes
- Use whole milk for creaminess.
- For a richer flavor, add a pinch of cinnamon.
