Description

Warm and delicious peach cobbler served fresh from the oven.


Ingredients

  • 4 cups fresh peaches, sliced
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix sliced peaches with 1/2 cup sugar.
  3. In another bowl, combine flour, remaining sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  4. Add milk and melted butter to the flour mixture, stirring until smooth.
  5. Pour the batter into a baking dish.
  6. Top with the peach mixture.
  7. Bake for 45 minutes or until golden brown.

Notes

  • Serve warm with vanilla ice cream.
  • Store leftovers in the refrigerator.
  • Can use canned peaches if fresh ones are not available.
