A simple recipe for homemade Thanksgiving stuffing.

- 1 loaf of bread, cubed
- 1 cup of celery, chopped
- 1 cup of onion, chopped
- 1/2 cup of butter
- 2 cups of chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon of dried sage
- 1 teaspoon of thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the chopped celery and onion, cooking until softened.
- In a large bowl, combine the bread cubes and cooked vegetables.
- Add the chicken broth, sage, thyme, salt, and pepper to the bowl.
- Mix until the bread is well coated.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown.
Notes
- You can add cooked sausage or mushrooms for extra flavor.
- Use gluten-free bread for a gluten-free option.
- Make it ahead of time and refrigerate before baking.
