Ingredients

- 2 lbs beef chuck, cut into cubes
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 onions, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons sweet paprika
- 1 teaspoon caraway seeds
- 1 bell pepper, chopped
- 2 tomatoes, diced
- 4 cups beef broth
- 2 potatoes, diced
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
- Add the onions and garlic, sauté until soft.
- Add the beef cubes, brown on all sides.
- Stir in paprika and caraway seeds.
- Add bell pepper and tomatoes, cook for a few minutes.
- Pour in beef broth, bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 1.5 hours.
- Add potatoes, cook until tender.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Serve hot.
