Description

A quick and easy recipe for beef and broccoli made in an Instant Pot.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb beef flank steak, sliced
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup beef broth

Instructions

  1. Set the Instant Pot to sauté mode and heat the oil.
  2. Add garlic and ginger, sauté for 1 minute.
  3. Add beef and cook until browned.
  4. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, cornstarch, brown sugar, and broth.
  5. Pour the sauce over the beef in the pot.
  6. Close the lid and set to manual high pressure for 10 minutes.
  7. Quick release the pressure and stir in broccoli.
  8. Close the lid and set to manual high pressure for 2 minutes.
  9. Serve hot over rice or noodles.

Notes

  • Adjust cooking time for thicker cuts of beef.
  • Use fresh broccoli for best results.
  • Serve immediately for optimal texture.
