Delicious homemade fudge that melts in your mouth.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup chopped nuts (optional)
Instructions
- In a medium saucepan, combine sugar, cocoa, milk, and butter.
- Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until the mixture comes to a boil.
- Continue boiling for 4-5 minutes without stirring.
- Remove from heat and stir in vanilla and nuts.
- Pour into a greased 8×8 inch pan.
- Let it cool completely before cutting into squares.
Notes
- Store fudge in an airtight container.
- Fudge can be refrigerated for longer shelf life.
