Ingredients

  • 2 pork loin chops
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 large egg
  • Vegetable oil for frying
  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 1/2 cup tonkatsu sauce
  • 1/4 cup sliced green onions
  • Sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare your ingredients and set up a breading station with flour, egg, and panko.
  2. Dip each pork chop in flour, then in beaten egg, and finally coat with panko.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat.
  4. Fry the pork chops until golden brown and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes per side.
  5. Remove from the pan and let them rest before slicing.
  6. Place cooked rice in a bowl and top with sliced pork.
  7. Drizzle tonkatsu sauce over the pork and garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.
