A flavorful jerk turkey recipe perfect for Thanksgiving.
Ingredients

- 1 whole turkey (12–14 lbs)
- 1/4 cup jerk seasoning
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
- 1 lime, juiced
- 1/4 cup fresh thyme, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C).
- Rinse and pat dry the turkey.
- In a bowl, mix jerk seasoning, olive oil, soy sauce, garlic, ginger, lime juice, thyme, salt, and pepper.
- Rub the mixture all over the turkey, including under the skin.
- Place the turkey in a roasting pan.
- Roast the turkey for 3-4 hours, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Let the turkey rest for 30 minutes before carving.
Notes
- For best flavor, marinate the turkey overnight.
- Use a meat thermometer to check doneness.
- Serve with traditional Thanksgiving sides.
