Ingredients

  • 4 cups of rice cake (tteok)
  • 10 cups of beef broth
  • 1 cup of sliced beef
  • 2 cups of vegetables (carrots, zucchini, and mushrooms)
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons of sesame oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Soak rice cakes in water for a few hours.
  2. Boil beef broth in a pot.
  3. Add sliced beef and cook until tender.
  4. Add vegetables and cook for 5 minutes.
  5. Add soaked rice cakes and cook until soft.
  6. Fry eggs and slice them into strips.
  7. Serve soup topped with egg strips and drizzle with sesame oil.
