- 1 loaf of bread, cubed
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup milk
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon lemon zest
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- Powdered sugar for dusting
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth.
- Add milk, eggs, sugar, lemon juice, lemon zest, vanilla, and salt. Mix well.
- Fold in the cubed bread until fully coated.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes until golden brown.
- Let it cool for a few minutes, then dust with powdered sugar before serving.
