- 2 boneless chicken breasts
- 8 oz fettuccine pasta
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 lemon (juice and zest)
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the fettuccine according to package instructions.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
- Season chicken with salt and pepper, then cook until browned and cooked through.
- Remove chicken and slice it.
- Add garlic to the skillet and sauté for 1 minute.
- Pour in chicken broth, lemon juice, and zest. Simmer for 5 minutes.
- Stir in heavy cream and return chicken to the skillet.
- Combine with cooked pasta and mix well.
- Garnish with parsley before serving.
