Ingredients

- 4 large potatoes, thinly sliced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup chopped green onions
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons butter
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Grease a baking dish with butter.
- Layer half of the sliced potatoes in the dish.
- In a bowl, mix heavy cream, garlic, salt, and pepper.
- Pour half the cream mixture over the potatoes.
- Sprinkle half the cheddar and Parmesan cheese on top.
- Repeat the layers with the remaining potatoes, cream mixture, and cheeses.
- Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 45 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until golden brown.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add cooked bacon bits.
- Ensure potatoes are evenly sliced for uniform cooking.
- Let the dish sit after baking for better slicing.
