  • 4 cups cooked rice

Instructions

  1. Soak the red beans overnight.
  2. In a large pot, sauté onions, bell pepper, celery, and garlic until soft.
  3. Add smoked sausage and cook until browned.
  4. Add soaked beans, chicken broth, bay leaves, thyme, and paprika.
  5. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 1.5 to 2 hours.
