Instructions
- Thaw the turkey in the refrigerator for 3 days.
- Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C).
- Prepare the stuffing by mixing stuffing mix, celery, onion, sage, and thyme.
- Stuff the turkey and place it in a roasting pan.
- Rub butter all over the turkey and pour chicken broth into the pan.
- Roast the turkey for about 3 hours, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
- While the turkey cooks, prepare the mashed potatoes and green beans.
- Make cranberry sauce if not using store-bought.
- Let the turkey rest before carving.
- Serve with mashed potatoes, green beans, and cranberry sauce.
- Finish the meal with a slice of pie.
