Delicious mango crumb bars with a buttery crust and sweet mango filling.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups ripe mango, diced
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, and salt.
  3. Add softened butter and vanilla, mix until crumbly.
  4. Press half of the mixture into a greased baking pan.
  5. In another bowl, combine mango, lemon juice, cornstarch, and mix well.
  6. Spread mango mixture over the crust.
  7. Sprinkle remaining crumb mixture on top.
  8. Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Let it cool before cutting into squares.
