  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

  • 1 cup granulated sugar

  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (163°C).
  2. Mix graham cracker crumbs and melted butter in a bowl. Press into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
  4. Add vanilla extract and incorporate well.
  5. Add eggs, one at a time, mixing on low speed after each addition.
  6. Stir in sour cream until fully blended.
  7. Divide the mixture in half. Stir melted chocolate into one half.
  8. Pour half of the vanilla mixture into the crust. Add dollops of chocolate mixture, then top with remaining vanilla mixture.
  9. Use a knife to gently swirl the mixtures together for a marbled effect.
  10. Bake for 55-60 minutes until the center is set but slightly jiggly.
  11. Turn off the oven, crack the door, and let the cheesecake cool in the oven for 1 hour.
  12. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight before serving.
