- 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 4 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup sour cream
- 4 large eggs
- 1/4 cup matcha powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C).
- In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs and melted butter. Press into the bottom of a springform pan.
- In a large mixing bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth.
- Add sugar and beat until combined.
- Mix in sour cream, matcha powder, vanilla extract, and salt.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Pour the cheesecake mixture over the crust.
- Bake for 60-70 minutes or until the center is set.
- Let it cool at room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.
Notes
- For a firmer texture, bake a little longer.
- You can substitute almond flour for a gluten-free crust.
- Garnish with whipped cream and matcha powder for presentation.
