  • 1 pound ziti pasta
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons chopped parsley
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook ziti pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a skillet, brown the ground beef. Drain excess fat.
  4. Add marinara sauce to the beef and simmer for 5 minutes.
  5. In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese, egg, parsley, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  6. In a baking dish, layer half of the cooked ziti, half of the meat sauce, and half of the ricotta mixture.
  7. Repeat the layers with the remaining ingredients.
