- 1 pound ziti pasta
- 1 pound ground beef
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 2 cups ricotta cheese
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 egg
- 2 tablespoons chopped parsley
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook ziti pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a skillet, brown the ground beef. Drain excess fat.
- Add marinara sauce to the beef and simmer for 5 minutes.
- In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese, egg, parsley, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- In a baking dish, layer half of the cooked ziti, half of the meat sauce, and half of the ricotta mixture.
- Repeat the layers with the remaining ingredients.
- Top with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until cheese is bubbly.
- Let it cool for 10 minutes before serving.

- Can be frozen before baking.
- Garnish with fresh basil if desired.
